The Starting Point
The vision for Clearflux was to consolidate fragmented operational tools into a single, intuitive platform that could scale with growing business needs. My challenge was to design an interface that could support highly specialized workflows without overwhelming users.
The client emphasized flexibility, clarity, and the ability to adapt to a wide variety of enterprise use cases.
Immersive Research
We began by reviewing legacy systems and interviewing stakeholders across warehouse, procurement, and finance teams. Their insights revealed recurring pain points—like duplicate data entry, poor mobile accessibility, and difficulty extracting actionable insights from reports.
These findings guided early decisions on interface patterns, component modularity, and role-based access views.

Reframing the Experience
I structured the UX around modular task flows and data-first layouts. Each module was optimized for clarity, with collapsible filters, bulk actions, and table interactions tailored to real-world workflows.
By designing role-specific dashboards and reducing friction in common tasks (like receiving goods or matching invoices), we aimed to cut down user effort and decision fatigue.

Creating a Scalable System
To support rapid development and long-term scalability, I built a comprehensive design system in Figma. This included components for dynamic tables, multi-step forms, visual tags, status indicators, and data charts—all tested in both light and dark modes.
The system streamlined collaboration with engineering and ensured visual cohesion across every feature.

Designing with Clarity & Agility
Design reviews were conducted continuously with stakeholders, replacing formal user testing with iterative feedback cycles. I collaborated closely with developers during sprint planning and QA phases to resolve logic-heavy interactions like editable tables, mobile responsiveness, and conditional form behavior.
This ensured that UX and implementation stayed tightly aligned.
Results & Outcomes
Clearflux significantly boosted operational performance. Teams reported a 47% increase in workflow efficiency across procurement and finance, while onboarding time dropped by 60% thanks to the intuitive UI.
The scalable design system now supports over a dozen active modules and counting.

Reflection
If revisiting this project, I’d push further on incorporating more contextual training moments and user onboarding tips—especially for teams less familiar with digital systems.
There’s also opportunity to explore advanced accessibility options and deeper analytics customization for power users.
